March 2019 TBR + Link-Up

This March TBR includes a link-up for the Pick-a-Theme | 2019 Challenge hosted here @ She's Got Books On Her Mind. At the end of this post you can find a place to link-up to any reviews, discussions, and the like surrounding the theme you chose for March. You'll also find a link for the March link-up for the Royal Reading Challenge. I've added a few books you might enjoy for each challenge that I've discovered around Goodreads/the library that'll fit the theme.

It's the second week of March and I'm now posting this... I know. This past week has been one of my most stressful weeks in a long time and this week will be only a smidge less stressful. I just need to prioritize and grind through everything. Knowing me that won't really change my goals for reading. I plan on reading when I can the rest of this week. After the rereadathon (which I wrote a post about yesterday!) I'll have time to read even more so I will probably go crazy reading the last half of the month.

My theme this month is probably the most obvious one I've had. I'm sure you guessed it already. It is...

I talked about second chances for the Rereadathon created by Merphy Napier. My goal is to reread at least two books which is my safe goal since I have so much stuff to do! Here are the list of rereads and new books I plan on reading in March:

I've already read Inside Out & Back Again for a class I'm taking. Honestly, I've seen this around the library and Goodreads for a long time but I've never had any interest in it. Then I read it and proceeded to cry my eyes out. Loved this book!

The Trouble with Twins was the TBR pick this month chosen by all of you. Three times in a row I've been surprised with your choice for my tbr read. I'm excited to read this one because it's a story centered around sisters and it's a short read which I need this month.

I was planning on reading Comics Will Break Your Heart last month but only got a few pages in. When I have time I want to dive into this one since it started off so wonderfully.

Nowhere But Here is my second chance read for the rereadathon. The first time I read it I rated it two stars, the second time three stars. I loved the two other books in this series. I think I'm holding myself back from rating this highly because it is such a guilty pleasure read but I'm ready to get over my expectations for what I should enjoy and what I shouldn't.

You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) was last month's TBR pick which I didn't get to finish. It's a top priority this month though as I'm curious whether I'll end up enjoying Day's personality or not through a book setting.

Esperanza Rising is another book I need to read for class. I don't know what to expect but I'm hoping that it is as good as Inside Out & Back Again.

A Week in the Woods is my second reread pick of the month. I absolutely love this books and I have reread it the most of all the books I've ever read. I haven't read it in a while though which is a shame. I know people may be questioning why I'm rereading a children's books... or not. I do read a lot of children's books regularly anyways.

I'm supposed to do be a stop for a blog tour for In Another Life. I haven't gotten any more details yet so I don't know if that is still happening. I'll still read it and post my thoughts just in case. I wanted to read this book 1) the title reminds me of a song 2) I've liked the author's previous work and 3) the plot reminds me of a series I love.

I didn't realize earlier in the month how crazy it would be but I have a couple of extra books I wanted to share what I am currently reading and wanted to get to if I had the chance to which seems more unlikely by the minute.

I wanted to listen to an audiobook on my way to and from work and I knew American Panda had an audiobook version. I can't really understand it through my phone while driving though so this may be a bust. The first chapter was great though!

I am part of a book club again irl. I wasn't ecstatic with the choice of A Discovery of Witches since I read about 100 pages of it years ago and the guy (a vampire) was already going to ruin the story. I did see the first episode of the new TV show which enticed me to read it again. I can tell the romance will be cringe worthy already but I'm going to give it a shot.

I picked up Why Poetry a while back based on a video I saw earlier this year. I kind of would like to explore poetry in the future so I thought this book would be a good starting point.

How Not to Be Popular is a reread pick that I don't think I would get to but would love to. I absolutely love this book with all my heart still years later after first reading it in high school.

If You Come Softly was a TBR pick I wanted to have just in case I had any extra time to read more books. It's a short read but I doubt I'll get to it. It's supposed to be a fantastic book so I'll get to it eventually.
