Bout of Books has officially commenced! I'm going to try to read at least two books today. Currently, I'm reading Your Voice is All I Hear which I expect to LOVE.

I was the one he trusted. I was the one he loved, the only one who believed him, even when his own mother had locked him up and thrown away the key.

And now, I was going to pass down the white tiled hallway, knock on his doctor’s office door, slam his secret notebook on her desk and make her read it, make her understand what he was hiding, make her see what only I had seen.

April won’t let Jonah go without a fight.

He’s her boyfriend—her best friend. She’ll do anything to keep him safe. But as Jonah slips into a dark depression, trying to escape the traumatic past that haunts him, April is torn. To protect Jonah, she risks losing everything: family, friends, an opportunity to attend a prestigious music school. How much must she sacrifice? And will her voice be loud enough to drown out the dissenters—and the ones in his head?

#insixwords

I'm supposed to introduce myself in six words only! I'll try my best.

    1. I really enjoyed the books although, I'm feeling pretty mopey. It's a pretty heavy read.

Goofy/Silly and we've also got reader in common of course (:

  2. Love the gifs! Ha ha! :D Have you actually seen Parks & Recreations? I love April! I'm an introvert myself and find it incredibly challenging to be around a large group of people; crowds make me nervous! It's more that I don't my beak - my words are always ahead of me :P

    1. Yeah, I've seen all of them except the last season. April is awesome. Crowds make me nervous when I'm by myself. I kind of do a mini freak out when I meet new people and then it goes away as I get to know them.

  3. Two books today! Wow! Though sorry you are feeling mopey. That happens to me sometimes when I am reading something heavy, I carry around the weight of the book with me for a while.

Six words is tough (I so enjoyed reading yours). I would say:
Creative, overthinker, reader, quirky, caring, and loyal.

    1. Oh I hadn't read two books. That was the plan though. Yes, there are a few books that weigh me down too including this one. I love that books can me you feel so much with just words.

I'm such an overthinker too. It's the bane of my existence.

  4. This book sounds a little dark and emotional. I hope it's a great read for you. I would describe myself with those same words. :)

    1. It was really great. It's about schizophrenia so I'm not surprised it affected me so much.

  5. Ooh, I didn't realise this one came around so soon, I wouldn't have loved to have joined but need to get my self together first so I can join the next one. Two books in one day? Wow, that's an incredible commitment. Six words? Loud, moody, pedantic, snarky, dependable and I'd like to think kind as well. The jury might be still out on that one :D

  6. Your Voice is all I Hear sounds really intriguing, even if it doesn't look like the cheeriest of books!
I also share some of your six words, especially daydreamer.
Hope you enjoy the book :)
