So I got asked a weird question today: Would you like to go on a date with a book? Only a librarian could ask me that. My librarian explained that they have some wrapped books that have some words that describe the book on the cover. So you pick whichever one you think you'll like based on the description and you open it up at home.
I can't tell how oddly thrilling it was to open up this mystery book (I'm a reader. I can't help it). So I opened it up and got First Comes Love by Katie Kacvinsky (which has a pretty good rating on Goodreads). I've never heard of it but the summary intrigues me. I guess I know what I'm reading for Valentine's day said the girl with no life. Haha! I rather read than anything else anyways.
After I read the book there is a heart that says Rate Your Date which I do just that. It says "We want all the juicy details! You may save someone from a bad experience..." Then it asks: So how was it? and What was your 1st impression? There's also a place to put the title of the book. There's different things you can rate it from it was a disaster to it was amazing and the same thing basically for the 1st impression. I'm intrigued by it and hope it's good. We will see.

Summary: "Like his name, Gray is dark and stormy. Dylan, a girl always searching for what's next, seemingly unable to settle down, is the exact opposite: full of light and life. On the outside, they seem like an unlikely couple. But looks can be deceiving and besides, opposites attract.
What starts as friendship, turns into admiration, respect and caring, until finally these two lone souls find they are truly in love with each other.
But staying in love is not as easy as falling in love. If Dylan and Gray want their love to last, they're going to have to work at it. And learn that sometimes love means having to say you're sorry."
In Conclusion: My Library is Adorable.
Oooh this is so cool! I wish my library would do something awesome like this!
