Did you participate in any reading challenges this year?

Comments

  1. You did a great job on all your challenges! Congrats! I always do so well at keeping track for the first few months of the year and then by the mid-year point I usually just stop. :/ This year I don't think I will participate in any year long challenges except for goodreads. I like the shorter challenges better, like bout of books! I didn't do well at your challenge either. I was so bad at keeping track of what state my books take place in, but I did have fun paying closer attention to that. Anyway, good luck with your 2016 challenges!

    1. That's cool. I've thought of just not doing challenges but even if I fail them it's nice for that moment to be excited about them. I have to say the shorter challenges that I participate in my groups on Goodreads are really fun so I have to agree that shorter challenges are better.
      Well, that's okay. I read more than I expected for my challenge (but not how much I wanted by thirty) and it was interesting to see where the books were set wasn't it?
      Good luck with your GoodReads challenge in 2016 (:

  2. Wow, you really did a great job. I'm doing a lot more challenges in 2016 than I have ever done, but not all are about reading certain types of books so I think it will go well. It should be fun- gives me a reason to read certain books too.

    1. That's a good idea. I don't mind the genre centered challenges myself. I'm just excited to read all of the books for my 2016 challenge which is all you really need to do well in you challenges (hopefully) (;

  3. You did great and I'm amazed at how many challenges you kept track of! I even set up a spreadsheet to keep track of mine, and it still didn't go very well. I mean, I read enough books for most of the challenges I signed up for, but I didn't keep track of them very well, and I often forgot to link up.

    I wish you the best with your challenges next year! You asked me, so I'll ask too: What are you planning to participate in for 2016?

    1. I tried setting up a spreadsheet for myself but I rather have something I can put on the blog so I can just update it there all the time so that's what I did this year. I forgot to link up all the time last year. I should really send out e-mail notifications for my challenge next year but I don't want to annoy anyone.
      Good luck with your challenges too!
      So many: Goodreads, Royal Challenge, Manga and Graphic Novels Challenge, Horror Reading Challenge, Fairytale Challenge, and many more.

  5. You did an awesome job on your reading challenges. I enjoyed seeing all of them and the reading you did for them. Fun to see lots of books I have read on your lists, but also lots of books I haven't read yet.

    I didn't participate in any reading challenges this year, though I did make a goal to try and record more of my reading on Goodreads, and I did record a good chunk of it. I think I will do an even better job in 2016.

    Happy New Year!
