Mini Challenge: Romeo Oh Romeo! Love for Books Readathon

I'm happy to say that I'm hosting a mini challenge for the 2nd annual Love for Books Readathon hosted by Jessi over at Novel Heartbeat! This mini challenge let's you tap into your creative side.

The Challenge:

Create a poem about a book character you either love or love to hate.

There are many different types of poems you can work with or you can simply write a poem that rhymes throughout. Be as creative as you can be and have fun!

The Prize:

The winner of this mini challenge will be announced on Valentine's Day! The winner will be able to pick a book from the list below. They all of course have romance in them.

After you have submitted your link let me know in the comments which book you would like to receive and why.

  1. This is clever, I will share around the sphere :)

  2. this is really a lovely challeneg but I can't write poem althought I love reading one :) good luck with this :D

  3. This is such a fun idea. I must tell my poem writing, co-author about this one!

  4. I just put my post up. I had a blast doing this challenge! I was really hesitant at first because I don't really read or write much poetry - but it wasn't as hard as I thought. I actually surprised myself, my haikus turned out better than I expected! Thanks for hosting such a fun challenge!

  5. Sounds like a fun challenge with a good prize (books make excellent prizes). Off sharing this!

  6. I posted mine :) I did it on Miles from Ugly Love. I had just finished reading the book and thought, why not?

  7. Oh I just saw that we should comment which book we want and why. Okay, so I had seen a WHIIIIILE ago For Darkness Shows the Stars and I just adored the cover and then the stoey, I remember I was interested in it but then I forgot all about the book and seeing it here seems like a great opportunity...this book is possibly the reason why I entered the giveaway haha
