The first month of the Reading Road Trip Challenge was very successful. My reader's Block, Sue, and Books Are Life were three readers who linked up in January and all of us combined reviewed/updated 16 new books from the U.S. I'm considering making a list of all the books everyone reads this year. Let me know what you think.
I actually was able to read 7 books for this challenge but only linked up the 3 below:
Illinois - Oregon - Idaho
They were all very different from each other but also had a little or a lot of mystery in all of them. The Shadow Society was the most unique read I've read in a while. It included another dimension in Chicago. Meet Your Baker was my first cozy mystery. Blue Heaven was a really complex thriller.
Make sure to let me know what states you plan to visit this February and link up your review updates below using this format:
State (Book) @ blog/twitter/goodreads.
For example: Florida (Because of Winn-Dixie) @BooksOnHerMind
If you want to check out what this challenge is all about you can go here. Thanks to all who are participating! Remember if you need help ask and I will answer.
Link Up!
Ooh I've always wanted to read The Shadow Society after loving The Winner's Curse xD I'm glad that you found it to be unique and somewhat enjoyable, Adriana!
ReplyDeleteIt's really good but I wish it had a sequel.
DeleteThat picture for the Reading Road Trip is adorable! Sounds like you read some great books for the challenge!
ReplyDeleteI will have to look at what I am reading in February and see where I am traveling. :)
Awesome! I would love to know where you are traveling book wise.
Deletecongrats, you are doing really great with this challenage :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteI will be linking up soon! I am in the process of writing some of the reviews. I hit three different states this last month. A pretty good start. Very nice that you had 7! :D Loving this challenge. Keeping track of all the different states I read is a lot of fun and very interesting. Makes me pay closer attention to that type of thing.
ReplyDeleteIt's made me pay closer attention too. There have been a couple of books where I learn or I want to learn about the state which is really exciting. I kind of want to visit a couple of these states because of the books I've read.
DeleteTurns out that I read way more books set out of the country than I realized! Over half my books this year have been set in the UK. I've never really thought about it before!
ReplyDeleteForgot to link up in January :( Realized I read very few books set here in the us lol
