2015 Reading Challenges

I'll be participating in eleven challenges this year. I have one main challenge and the other challenges fit my goals for what I want to read for 2015. I'm hoping to have some fun with these challenges!

The Reading Road Trip Challenge is my own challenge that I'm excited to participate in. You can find the general info and sign up page here.

I'm going for the Adventurer level and I plan to read 50 books set in the 50 states.

I will be posting my updates here.

Some books I'm planning to read are:

The 2015's Cloak & Dagger Reading Challenge is all about reading mysteries, crimes, and thrillers. I'm assuming suspense also counts. I'll be going for about 10 books which would make me Amelia Peabody. This challenge is hosted by Amy at A Bookish Girl. You can sign up for the challenge here.

Some books I'm planning to read are:

The 2015 Monthly Motif Challenge is all about reading a book based on a theme or motif each month. I'm going to try to do all of them as best as I can. I think I can do it. This challenge is hosted by Kim at Bookmark to Blog. You can sign up for the challenge here.

Some books I'm planning to read are:

This one is a little hard to plan for. I know what I want to do with the first four months and some others but I'll wait until I reach them to decide what books I want to read that far off.

The Color Coded Challenge is all about reading books with different colors in either the title or the cover. The last category has to do with a title that implies a color and all I could think of was shadow which implies the color black. This challenge is hosted by Bev at My Readers Block. You can sign up for the challenge here.

The books I'm planning to read are:

The Series Enders Challenge is all about finishing those series. I plan on reading a lot of series in 2015 so I feel like this is a perfect challenge to keep me motivated. Right now I'll keep myself at Level 1: 4 series. This challenge is hosted by Holly at Words Fueled by Love and Sally at Somewhere Only We Know. You can sign up for this challenge here.

Some books I'm planning to read are:

The Prequel and Sequel Challenge is all about reading as many prequel and sequels as possible. I know I'm already doing the Series Enders Challenge but this challenge counts the book in between. I'm going for the Newbie Goal: 10-25 points. This is based on a point system which you can see on the challenge page. This challenge is hosted by Jessi at Novel Heartbeat and Melissa at Writer Grrl Reads. You can sign up for the challenge here.

The 2015 Pages Read Challenge is all about setting a goal and reading as many pages of books as you want. Any book counts - even graphic novels and picture books! I'm planning on reading 25,000 pages. This challenge is hosted by Gina at Book Dragon's Lair. You can sign up for the challenge here.

The Fairytale Challenge is all about reading fairytale retellings or any other retellings. I tried to do something like this last year and over shot it so I'm going for Prince Charming: 1-4 books for now and hopefully I'll go up in the challenge later. I love the levels in this challenge. They are so cute! This challenge is hosted by Mel at The Daily Prophecy. You can sign up for the challenge here.

Some books I'm planning to read are:

The Audiobook Challenge is all about reading as many audio books as you can. I kind of gave up on audio books with one try a while ago and I wanted to give it a go one more time so I'm signing up as a Newbie: 1-5 books. This challenge is hosted by Jennifer at The Book Nympho and Loupe at Hot Listens. You can sign up for the challenge here.

The Snagged @ The Library Challenge is all about reading books that you get at your local library. I read a lot of books from my library but I've never tracked how much so this is why I'm signing up for this challenge. I'm going for Library Card on Fire 50+ books. This challenge is hosted by Jennifer at The Book Nympho and Felicia at the Geeky Bloggers Book Blog. You can sign up here

The Graphic Novel/Manga Challenge is all about reading those graphic novels and manga. I was scrounging to complete my twelve reads this year but I still want to make sure I read some comics and manga this year so I'm doing this challenge again. I'm going for Modern Age: 12 books. This challenge is hosted by Nicola. You can sign up for this challenge here.

If you are looking for a place where you can see most if not all 2015 yearly challenges you can visit A Novel Challenge.

  1. I'm not even participating in ANY challenges. >-< I never have and I just don't know if I'd stick to it or not unfortunately...gah. I do like freedom of reading whatever strikes my fancy. *nods* But I saw like a round the world challenge and I'm so so tempted. XD
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!

    1. You can always do one challenge and see if you can do it this year. By no time you probably participate in a bunch more.

  2. Sound like some fun challenges! The 50 state one sounds hard, but maybe it isn't too bad- there are so many different settings out there! I have read two of the books on your list (Olive's Ocean and The Mysterious Benedict Society). Many of the other books you mentioned are on my TBR list too. :) Best of luck!
