January 2014 Wrap-Up

It's been a while since I last posted. I've been anxious about these two exams I had to take on the very same day. I know I've done great on one of them and hopefully the same will be said by the other exam. I've read 13 books, 2 picture books this past month, and I posted 22 blog posts.

Books and Picture Books I've Read:

I had a good many disappointments this past month but I've also had great surprises. The Year of the Book, The Savages, Netherwood, See Jane Run, Matilda, The Rule of Thirds were all wonderful reads. Poison and Inkheart were my top favorite reads of January.

Personal Challenges:

I ended up doing pretty well with my 10k goal. My fastest .52 miles was 6 min 34 seconds. The only thing I learned to cook was scrambled eggs but it's something. I didn't do any crafts but tried and failed miserably this past weekend to make a scarf. I'm planning to continue on and persevere with crocheting but I seriously need to get a better hook and yarn. I haven't done any drawing! I need to keep it in mind because I keep on forgetting I need to draw.

Plans for February:

I've got three blog tours I'm participating in this month. I'm planning on reading some romance books on account of Valentine's Day as well as a bunch of review books I've been given. I'm also planning on reading books on my Kindle that have been just sitting there. Here are some books I plan to read in February:

I've started late but February looks like it's going to be a fantastic month!

  2. You're a really varied reader, that's for sure! And good stuff with reading all those books. I've been meaning to read Unremembered...hmm...I need more hours in my LIFE to read all these books. I'm looking forward to your review on Altered. :)

    1. I feel the same way. I wish I had more time to read rather than studying. Altered is really good so far so hopefully it stays that way (:

  3. I'm sure you did great on both exams!! You still managed to read a lot this month. My total for January was 16 books which is probably the most I've ever read in one month. You've got some good books picked for February. I still need to read Altered and Attachments. Happy Reading =)

    1. Awesome! You read a lot. I've read more in a month around 20 but school wasn't in my way at that time. Thanks!

  4. Glad the two exams went well and you did a ton of reading in January! Yeah for you. :) I have a Rainbow Rowell book to read on my bedside table- Eleanor and Park. I can't wait to get to it. :)

    Happy reading and drawing!
