October 2016 Monthly Recap

October was one of my better months for blogging which I'm happy for. November will be an interesting month. I'm going to continue focusing on school, writing reviews, and crazily enough I'm starting NaNoWriMo. I'm not going to be too stressed out... probably... because I'm not a writer and I'm doing it for fun. Anyone else doing NaNoWriMo?

Reading Plans

I don't really have too much of a plan regarding books this month. Whatever comes my way I'll read. I've already kind of started writing down books I want to read next year all ready which shows that I have something wrong with me. I like planning too much. I do know I want to explore the library more and read some comics.

First Book of the Month

What are your book plans this November?

  1. I don't have a ton of book plans this month. I have more arcs from Netgalley than physical ARCs for November, so hopefully most of those will be quick reads and I can get a head start on December.

    1. I'm reading a lot of ARCs this December too. I wish I had physical ARCs! Have fun (:

  2. I enjoy every Raina Talgemeier book! Her new one, Ghosts, is super good. You read a lot of books this month. Woot! I honestly don't have any book plans for November. Lately I keep changing my mind on what to read at the last minute, which is a little funny because I love planning too. Happy November!

    1. I saw her new book at a book fair and it looks really good. I love her storytelling and art. Planing is my thing but I'm like Dory - I have short attention spans when I see a new book.

  3. I am so glad October was such a good reading month for you. This month I am trying to wrap up a few books that I have had on my TBR list for a while because some of them are one I want to write reviews for soon.

Hope NaNo is going well. I have always wanted to try it- but November is such a crazy busy month for me at my day job. Can't wait to hear about your experience- I like that it sounds like it will be low pressure for you. :)

    1. I've been looking at my TBR list on Goodreads and I've had books on their for years! I need to do something about them.

    1. I did! Although, I had a tough time of it. I'll be writing more on this later.

Sometimes I write too many books and it just gets too overwhelming but I think my plan to read the books that I'm dying to read will help me in the future. Thanks!
