You and me the same. I feel like it's going to be like when I watched My Sister's Keeper in the movie theater. Everyone in the theater was sniffling try to not outright let someone here them cry.
What?! Why is this happening? I am sorry but I can not accept that countless books are being made into movies. Hollywood must be running out of ideas. DX But trailer wise, it's not so bad...though I imagined Rudy a little differently and Max way differently. (is Max supposed to look handsome? ;D) I guess I'll watch it. It's from people who made Life of Pi, I am just hoping it would be okay. PLease don't be a terrible book.
I thought the same thing for a second because a lot of these books to movies they are completely destroying the wonder that we got from the book *cough cough* Safe Haven....
I also thought Max was a bit too handsome. I remember him being older or maybe I just forgot? I thought Rudy would have brown hair but it makes sense he looks the way he looks because he does have to join that Hitler youth thing.
To be honest, I've heard rave and gushy reviews for this book for so long and I even picked it up a few times but never really read it. This trailer though, made me have all the feels. I'm already blown away by this, I think I'll be reading the book super soon :)
The same thing happened with me and The Fault in the Stars. When I finally read it I thought what was I so hesitant about? This book gave me so many emotions and I know you don't know it yet but it will give it to you to. I hope you get to read it real soon (:
Oh my goodness! I had no idea The Book Thief was becoming a movie. I can't wait. I read the book a couple of years ago and it was so fascinating. Thanks for sharing this! :)
I just found out yesterday like three hours after the trailer was posted. It's been in the works for a while I think. I'm surprised I haven't heard any mention of it until now either!
Aaaaaaah! I can't wait! I'll have to take a big box of tissues to the theater with me.

ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that it looks so well done. I hope the trailer is as good as the movie.
DeleteI've never read the book thief myself but it's one of my mom's favorite books! The trailer looks amazing!!
ReplyDeleteYour mom's read it but not you? If my mom loved a book I would definitely give it a shot *wink wink*
DeleteI know, I know, I should have listened to her sooner! Haha. I've planned to read it just never got around to it...
