Bout of Books 15: Wrap-Up

Bout of Books was officially over yesterday. I only kept in touch with posts the first couple of days but I did get a good amount of reading done.

Books Read

So I didn't fulfill any of my goals but I've read twelve books so far this year so that's a win. The new semester is starting so I only hope I'm able to read even more this January. I hope everyone was able to read some great books!

What did you read this past week?

    1. Thank you! They were pretty fun except Your Voice is All I Hear. I felt like I needed ice cream after that one.

    1. Yeah, I'm trying to make my posts more eye catching if not with picture but with quotes.

  4. 12 books is quite the lot! Congrats on your success regardless :) I've been wanting to read Ozma of Oz by since it first came out! How did you like it?

This week I finished reading Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane by Suzanne Collins, did you know that she wrote a 5-book series prior to The Hunger Games? I can't believe I didn't know this! Anyway, the books are fantastic :)

    1. I surprisingly enjoyed it more than The Wizard of Oz which I kind of hated. There was one part that was a bit dragged out but not too bad.

Yeah, I know. I actually have the first two books from a book fair I got when I was a little kid. I have not read them yet....

  5. Wow, 12 books already! That's a mighty goal to reach, Adriana. Well done. And I'm glad you got to read ALMOST HOME. I just finished reading a Mo Yan novel, and a middle-grade novel THE YEAR THE SWALLOWS CAME EARLY (both ebooks). I'm on a mystery now, and David Copperfield, which I can't seem to finish.

  6. Great job! Can't wait to hear what you thought of Almost Home! You are off to a great start with your reading this year. I am a bit behind, it has been a crazy busy week. Good luck now that the semester is getting ready to start. :)
