Top Ten Books On My TBR This Summer

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

I plan to read a whole lot of books this summer. These top ten books are ones that I plan to read this June. Let me know which book you think I should read first.

The Mysterious Benedict Society - Gifted children, secret societies, and an undercover mission.

Jumping on Swings - Four teenagers react to one girls pregnancy and the choice she makes.

Living with Jackie Chan - Sequel to Jumping off Swings.

Masterminds - A boring town turns into a mystery when a boy tries to go off the city limits.

Blue Lily, Lily Blue - I'm currently reading The Dream Thieves so I'm planning on reading the third book real soon. I love Blue so I'm excited what this has in store for me. A cliffhanger no doubt.

Dead Girls Don't Lie - A betrayed friend tries to solve the mystery of her friend's death.

A Need So Beautiful - An angel who needs to make a choice: fulfill her destiny or stay with her friends.

A Want So Wicked - Sequel to A Need So Beautiful

Smart Girls Get What They Want - Four girls step out on the limelight to take on their greatest challenges in high school.

Something Real - Bonnie is a brand, but she wants to live a normal life. Can she?

What are you reading this Summer?

  1. Looks like some nice reads :D I've got a bunch of rock star reads on my list for some reason. Didn't mean for that to happen but realized I had 3 rock stars (at least--I don't read blurbs so there might be more lol) in the next month. ;D

    1. I read it a couple of days ago and pretty much loved it although it made me supremely angry at certain points... and people.

  3. I've only read three books from your list. Blue Lily, Lily Blue completely lived up to my expectations, it was even better than the first two books. I don't think I'll ever get bored of Maggie Stiefvater's writing. Something Real is one of my favorite books of this year, next to I'll Meet You There, another book by Demetrious. You might want to check it out if you haven't yet. I wasn't a huge fan of Dead Girls Don't Die but I hope you enjoy it anyway. Smart Girls Get What They Want is on my TBR as well, can't wait to finally read it.
    Lovely list! :)

    1. So this is the second time someone comments on their love of I'll Meet You There. Definitely adding it to my tbr. Something real was really good by the way.

  8. Oooh, read Masterminds! I have never heard or known it before, but that one-sentence premise sounds intriguing already. Small towns with secrets never fail to send a shiver up my spine... imagine the conspiracy theories characters might discover!

  10. My son read The Mysterious Benedict Society and enjoyed it. But he never read the follow up books. I am not familiar with the rest of your titles. I read PNR, Romance, UF, and the two most anticipated books for the summer for me are Spider's Trap by Jennifer Estep and Magic Shifts by Ilona Andrews.

    1. I think the first book ends so well that I'm not surprised he didn't continue it. Cliffhangers are the best way for at least me to continue with a series.
I'm not familiar with your titles but I'm sure you'll love them (:
