Happy New Year! It's almost 2015!!!! I wanted to end 2014 with my plans for January. If you don't know I created a yearly challenge that will have it's first monthly link up tomorrow. You can check out the challenge and sign-up here if you want. So I'll be reading a few books for that challenge for the states of Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and Arkansas. Yes, I'm trying to do the challenge in alphabetical order at least for now. I'll probably deviate right away...
I'm planning on reading ninety-six books in total for 2015 - that's eight books a month. I'm going to try to read a series a month because I'm so behind with my series.
Personally, I want to exercise five times a week which I might be able to do hopefully with the help of #FitReaders. One last thing I want to do is eat more healthy so whether it's actually eating fruit and vegetables or creating a meal I want to do it this month.
I'd love to know your plans and the books you are looking forward to reading next month and this year. What is your overall goal for 2015?
I'm only going to show what I plan to read for my first book in January because I know if I create a list I'll deviate from it so badly. My first book for the new year will be:
What book are you reading first in 2015?
Your plans for 2015 sound wonderful. Trying to achieve our goals is a step in the right direction! :)
ReplyDeleteThe first book I will reading is Snicker of Magic. I can't wait! I saw Natalie Loyd speak at a book fair recently and she was so sweet and personable that I can't wait to read her writing.
Wishing you a Happy New Year and lots of great reading! :)
Oh my goodness a Snicker of Magic! I am so jealous of you right now!!!
DeleteThe state challenge sounds really fun! :D I hadn't heard of it before, but I'll definitely have to look into it because I'm intrigued!
ReplyDeleteAnd good luck with your goal of 96 books! YOU CAN DO IT! <3
Thanks for sharing, and here's to a great 2015!

I'm doing the state challenge on here actually :D
DeleteThanks so much. Hope you have a wonderful 2015.
Everyone seems to really enjoy Rebel Belle, I still have yet to read it but I hope you enjoy it! I'm with you on the exercising and eating better goal, I really need to focus on that this year. I've ALWAYS wanted to do the Reading Road Trip/Read Across the USA challenge but it's so daunting. But Arizona, heck yes ;) That's where I live!
ReplyDeleteIt was really good just like everyone says (;
DeleteYou don't have to do all 50 states with the challenge I set up. You can always do less if you are intrigued.
I have he Host on the ready for Arizona I believe.
I love the idea of #FitReaders - This is the first time I'm hearing of it so I'll have to give that a look. I've never been the type to watch what I eat/exercise but that something I want to change this year.
ReplyDeleteAs for goals this year: I'd like to branch into non-fiction and books by local authors. I'm also hoping to blog a lot more consistently and vary the type of posts I do.
Good luck with your goals and happy new year, Adriana! :D
I hope you enjoy Rebel Belle! :)
I'm not really watching what I eat right now but I'm sure as I continue on I'll definitely have to do so.
DeleteI really need to read some non-fiction too. I like your goal of reading local author's books. I'm trying to be pretty consistent with posts too.
Good luck to you too Nuzaifa!
I'm interested to see what you think of Rebel Belle.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all of your challenges and happy new year!
Happy New Year to you as well!
DeleteI'll have the review up after all the Bout of Books updates (:
Yay, I'm so glad you're picking up Rebel Belle, it's one I really enjoyed! Some of my new year goals are to take it easy a bit more and focus on more me time. Happy New Year Adriana!
ReplyDeleteOh good! Good goals - I really want to focus on me too and make myself stronger and happier. I hope you have a wonderful year Jeann!
