February 2014 Wrap-Up Post

I haven't been on the blog for a while which makes me want to shake myself. I have many things planned for March to make sure I post, read, and have fun. I hope you'll join me. I read 7 books, 2 picture books, participated in 3 blog tours, and in total wrote 13 posts.

Books and Picture Books I've Read:

I had a better experience with my books read this month than the last one. I'm planning on continuing the Museum of Thieves trilogy this month as well as actually reviewing it. I loved Where the Stars Still Shine and The Taste of Apple Seeds was good in its own way. But, Altered wins as my favorite book of the month.

Personal Challenges:

I did horrible with my personal challenges it's kind of hilarious! I did run a mile in 17 minutes and 35 seconds so that's something. I could have done better if I did more running and that's actually my goal for my mile and half run in March. I started a program with my brother where I'm doing "girl" push-ups for 7 weeks until I can do regular push-ups on my own and start the whole process over.

Blogosphere Challenges:

I read 2 books for my TBR challenge and 1 for my series challenge. I'm stepping up my blogosphere challenges and Goodreads ones too this month.

Plans for March:

I'm planning on reviewing the 3 books I read in February but never wrote a review for. I have a few discussion posts I have in my head to do this month too. It's my brother's 25th birthday this month so I really want to bake or make him something or both. If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it. He's into arts and comics. Oh and thanks everyone for The Program suggestion. I'm reading that this coming week. I haven't read in forever so I'm excited to get started! Some books I'm planning to read in March:

  2. I really hope you'll enjoy Splintered. The sequel didn't quite work for me, but I really loved the first book. Can't wait to see what you think! And I'm looking forward to your Museum of Thieves reviews. I think that trilogy is new to me, but the cover has made me curious. And yay, I'm glad to hear Altered was your favourite book! I hope you have a good March. :)

    1. Thanks Sam! I hope you have a good March too. Splintered sounds so amazing. I hope I don't experience the same thing you did with the second book. I recently read a great review of the first book so I've been excited to get my hands on it.
