    1. Good thing to know about The Girl in the Steel Corset when I'm just trying to get into steampunk books. I'm starting Poison right now so hopefully it's good. Books with food and/or recipes are the best. They give me such great pleasure (:

  2. I need to meet Rainbow Rowell and her stories. All my friends seem to enjoy her books and I haven't read any. I hope that will change in 2014. You've got a really interesting list here and I hope you'll get to read everything you planed. Great post :)

    1. I'm surprised you haven't read her yet. I'm sure she's going to be one of your new favorites just like everyone else. Thanks Tanja!

  3. Look at all those great books you have lined up! Some of them are on my TBR list too. Splintered, The Search for Wondla, and The Girl in the Steel Corset (I have had it for over a year to read)

I have read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (loved it as a child) and A Wrinkle in Time (was my favorite book in 5th grade), and The Mysterious Benedict Society (1st book). I love A Bad Case of the Stripes- it is fast and cute. My students enjoy it too and we have used it for lessons at school. :) You can listen to it and see it being read at Storyline Online: http://www.storylineonline.net/a-bad-case-of-stripes/ (my students love this site).

Happy Reading and wishing you a wonderful 2014!

    1. I actually have read in some reviews or some comments that A Bad Case of Stripes scared their child. I guess it's pretty vivid and a hard moral to learn... I know about seeing it with StoryOnline - that's how I discovered it (: So many great books on there. I hope you are able to read all the books you've been wanting to and more. Have a great year!

  4. Attachments is on my list to read this year! It has been sitting on my shelf since July. Oh and I am a page at my local public library and the book Say Hello to Zorro is super cute, perfect for dog lovers, and it is very popular. Happy reading in 2014!

  5. Most of these are on my TBR list too! I did read The Girl in the Steel Corset last year but sadly I found it underwhelming. Hopefully you'll like it better! :) My experience with Steampunk books has been kinda sad but I've heard good things about Leviathan so maybe it'll be the book that restores my faith in the genre.

The Moon and More, Attachments and Splintered are supposed to be amazing so I hope you enjoy them!

A Bad Case of Stripes looks ADORABLE!! Happy New Year, Adriana! :)

    1. I guess I'll have to see for myself how The Girl in the Steel Corset is for me since it could go either way.
Thanks! Happy New Year to you as well Nuzaifa.

    1. Thanks! I'm happy someone commented about Frogged because I was worried it was going to be just an okay read.
